The Industrial procedure of solvent extraction does not need half of the total of energy used in pryrometallurgy, which decreases the cost and improved extraction efficiency͘ It may also be possible that ageing effecƚ extraction efficiency͘ The effect of ageing on the extraction of vanadium (V) from the mixtures of Vanadium (V) and Molybdenum (VI) of hydrochloric acid with bis-2-ethylhexyl phosphoric acid, tri-butyl phosphate, tri-octyl phosphine oxides in n-heptane as extractants were used to investigate the effecƚ of ageing of vanadium (V) for nine days.
